Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
Learning Progress: We store your chapter and course progress, exercise scores, difficulty preferences, and scenarios completed. This data exists to provide a personalised learning experience across devices.
Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or handle your credit card number, CVV, or billing address. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Usage Data: We collect anonymised data about which features you use and how long you spend on different sections. This is used solely to improve the platform and is never sold.
2How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Save and synchronise your learning progress across devices
- Process subscription payments through Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts)
- Provide customer support when you contact us
- Improve the platform based on anonymised usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in encrypted databases hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:

- Database access is restricted to authorised systems only

4Third-Party Services
We integrate with these third-party services:
Stripe — Payment processing for Pro, Exam Prep, and Financial Analysis subscriptions. Stripe handles all card data under PCI DSS compliance. Stripe's Privacy Policy governs their use of your payment information.
Anthropic — Our AI features (practice problem generation, answer checking, written analysis feedback) use Anthropic's Claude API. Your practice scenario content may be processed by Anthropic. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic.
Google — Optional Google Sign-In via OAuth 2.0. If you use this feature, Google's Privacy Policy applies to authentication data.
5Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
- Data Export: Request an export of your learning progress in JSON format
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time

iLove-Accounting.com is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
